How the estimate works
Shortest route, visible changes, official fare band
The route graph uses the current official network connections. It counts the departure and arrival stations, chooses the fewest-station route and minimises train changes when routes are equal. Live delays and schedules are intentionally excluded.

What are Cairo Metro ticket prices in 2026?
Mobility Cairo currently lists regular single-use tickets at 10 EGP for up to 9 stations, 12 EGP for 10–16, 15 EGP for 17–23 and 20 EGP for 24–39 stations.
How does the calculator estimate my fare?
It follows the current official connections between your selected stations, finds the route with the fewest stations and matches the inclusive station count to the published regular ticket categories.
Are all three Cairo Metro lines included?
Yes. Lines 1, 2 and 3 are included, with the current Line 3 branches towards Rod El Farag Corridor and Cairo University.
Is this an official Cairo Metro calculator?
